Job Description:

Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer (QE) to join our Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team in Korea. This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Hitachi's GTS products and services through comprehensive testing, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for GTS software and hardware solutions.
* Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, performance, and regression testing.
* Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams for resolution.
* Collaborate with product management, development, and support teams to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Contribute to the improvement of QE processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality considerations.
* Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and company quality policies.
* Provide technical support and guidance to junior QE team members.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
* 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Software Testing, preferably within a global technology or enterprise solutions environment.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
* Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, including automated testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
* Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
* Solid knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization technologies.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international team environment.
* Fluency in Korean and English (both written and spoken) is required.
