Job Description:

Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer (QE) to join our Global Technology Solutions (GTS) team in France. This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Hitachi's cutting-edge technology solutions delivered to our French customers.

Job Responsibilities**

* Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for software and hardware solutions, adhering to industry best practices and Hitachi standards.
* Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, performance, and regression testing, to identify and report defects.
* Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and project stakeholders to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure testability of features.
* Analyze test results, document defects with clear and concise descriptions, and track their resolution through the development lifecycle.
* Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on quality implications and potential risks.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
* Support the deployment and post-implementation quality assurance of solutions in customer environments.
* Stay updated with emerging technologies and testing trends relevant to Hitachi's GTS offerings.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field..
* Proven experience (3+ years) as a Quality Engineer or QA Tester, preferably within a global technology solutions environment.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
* Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
* Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and test management tools.
* Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Fluency in French and English (both written and spoken) is essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of specific technologies relevant to Hitachi GTS (e.g., cloud platforms, data analytics, IoT) is advantageous.
