What you will do: 

This role includes intermediate analysis, project management, and client-facing work across the spectrumof our practice areas which includes economic analysis and strategy; urban development and planning;real estate transactions; housing market analysis; community development;equitable growth; incentiveprogram development; workforce and labor analysis; and public-private-nonprofit real estate projectstrategy and implementation. 

In this role you will: 

  • Collaborate with internal and external project teams, independently and strategicallyto advanceproject opportunities, implementtimelines and develop recommendations for project content. 
  • Lead in project management and client relationships, aligning project teams with clientneedsand ensuring client satisfaction with our work. 
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of clients' existing conditions and needs and develop solutions throughdirect client interaction while working on multiple aspects of an engagement. Guideresearch anddocument writing; lead in guidance of communication in written and presentation formats. 
  • Guideproject deliverables, memos, presentations, and final reports for delivery to the client,documenting and reviewing engagement work papersin accordance with project needs andindustry acceptablemethodologies. 
  • Act as a valued business advisor, buildrelationships and communicate effectively with the client toprovide superior client service. 
  • Support real estate transactions analysis, including but not limited to, due diligence, underwriting,and financial modeling. 
  • Manage, develop, train, and mentor staff on projects and assess performance forengagement andyear-end reviews. 
  • Perform project management duties - oversee work plan execution, provide periodic internal andclient facing status reports, generate invoices and manage the project budget, oversee developmentand distribution of deliverables, and manage day-to-daycommunication and coordination with clientteam. 
  • Lead professional and effective presentations to internal and external audiences. 
  • Continue to develop knowledge and experience working with various technology environments,platforms, applications, and tools/utilities. 
  • Attend professional development, networkingevents and training seminars. Adhere to thehighest degree of professional standards and strict client confidentiality. 
  • Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with thegoal ofacquiring new clients, projects, and revenue. 
  • Invest in professional development individually and through participation in firmwide learning anddevelopment programs. 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 4-year degree 
  • 5 years professional experience 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree within business, economics, real estate, urban planning, orfinance, relevant master’s degree desirable but not a requirement. 
  • 7+ year(s) experience with relevant work experience and specific knowledge in areas of focuswith either private or public sector. 
  • Knowledge, skills and passion for the principles and practice connected to real estate,development, and redevelopment. 
  • Deep knowledge of real estate markets, trends, and asset classes, with the ability to forecastmarket dynamics and adapt strategies accordingly. 
  • Experience as a client serving professional desired. 
  • Excellentanalytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with strongattention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software. 
  • Experience in applied economic analysis utilizing relevant platforms and use of data sources,including the Case-Shiller National Home Price Index, ESRI Business Analyst,PolicyMap,Placer.ai, CoStar,GreenStreet, IBISWorld,Lightcast and IMPLAN, help build a comprehensiveperspective of the market dynamics related to trends in labor, land, and capital in a givenmarket.  
  • Strong understanding of real estate, zoning regulations, tax implications, and compliancerequirements. 
  • Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication, collaboration, and timemanagement skills. 
  • Ability to multi-task, work well independently in a fast-paced environment, and be highlyself-motivated. 
  • Motivation to work extended hours and travel as needed to meet the needs of clients and growthofthe national practice. 

The US National pay rate range for this job position is $59,400-$236,800. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location. Baker Tilly offers a comprehensivecompensation and benefits package to eligible employees.
