Logistics Support Specialist

Ecolab, a global leader in water, hygiene, and energy technologies and services, is seeking aLogistics Specialist to join ourEVD Safety Support Center (SSC).
This role operates as areal-time safetyand logistics control function, supporting chemical deliveries across Ecolab’s customer network by providing real-time solutions through afast-paced inbound-callsenvironment.
The Logistics Specialist reviews shipment and tank data, resolves system issues, and makes safety-based decisions to prevent delivery incidents before they occur.

What You Will Do
- Receive and manage +50 incoming calls daily related to delivery verification and safety checks.
- Serve as a member of theEVD Safety Support Center, supporting chemical deliveries for Ecolab and approved third‑party carriers
- Review shipment details, tank data, and system information toapprove or stop deliveries based on safety and compliance criteria
- Guide callers through troubleshooting steps and navigation of theEVD application
- Accurately document all interactions, decisions, and outcomes in tracking systems
- Create and manage IT incident tickets to document, track, and escalate EVD system or application issues to the appropriate technical teams, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact to delivery operations.
- CreateDelivery Action Requests (DARs) to capture tank setup issues, documentation gaps, or Bill of Lading discrepancies
- Coordinate with Ecolab field teams and account representatives to resolve delivery or system issues
- Respond toChemtrec alerts related to in‑transit incidents, damaged packages, or chemical events; assist with coordination when escalation is required
- Generate and maintaindelivery compliance and safety data, supporting reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Work Schedule
- Roles available acrossvaried schedules, including Monday - Friday, weekends, evenings, and overnight shifts
- Work hours aligned to business needs and global delivery operations
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of logistics, operations, supply chain, customer service or related experienceor demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex operational roles
- Strong computer skills (including enterprise systems) with the ability to work across multiple systems simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 year of SAP experience (or strong aptitude and exposure to ERP or enterprise systems)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) or similar productivity tools
- Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to changing processes
- Interest in logistics, safety, transportation, or operations environments
- Experience with bulk liquid transportation, chemical logistics, or regulated industries
- Knowledge of safety or compliance concepts (e.g.HazMat, DOT, or similar) -not required, training provided
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and strong problem‑solving skills
