This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintainfull-stack applications, includingReact-based UI, APIs, and backend services with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Lead and contribute tomodernization initiatives, migrating legacy/on-prem systems tocloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure)
  • Build and enhancescalable, secure APIs and microservices aligned with enterprise architecture and performance standards
  • Collaborate inAgile teams to deliver high-quality code, participate in design reviews, and continuously improve engineering practices
  • Implement and supportCI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation, ensuring reliable and efficient deployments
  • Troubleshoot production issues, performroot cause analysis, and drive improvements inperformance, reliability, and security

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 7+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience withReact.js and modern JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS familiarity a plus)
  • Experience building and integratingRESTful APIs / microservices
  • Proven experience infull-stack development across UI, services, and backend systems
  • Hands-on experience withcloud platforms (AWS or Azure), including application migration, configuration, and integrations
  • Experience modernizinglegacy/on-prem platforms to cloud-based architectures
  • Strong database expertise withOracle or PostgreSQL, includingDDL/DML and performance tuning
  • Familiarity withDevOps / CI-CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, Rancher)
  • Experience working inAgile environments (Scrum/Kanban) using Jira and Confluence
  • Experience withidentity & security frameworks (IAM, SSO, OAuth2, JWT, Active Directory, TLS/mTLS)
  • Exposure toenterprise security architectures and cross-platform security implementation
  • Proficiency withAI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) for coding and debugging
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, includingproduction support, vulnerability remediation, and release management
  • Knowledge ofdata engineering and platform best practices (testing, observability, performance tuning, cost optimization)

Shift Timings - 11 AM - 8 PM.

Location - Chennai.

Experience- 7 - 10 Years

Location expectations 
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
