Lead Mammographer
We areseeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you willoperate specialized radiography equipment toassist in the safe and efficient diagnosis and assessment of patient conditions. Expand your knowledge while working in the Hoffman Breast Center. Use yourexpertise in Mammography toassist in providing quality care to our loyal patient base.
Key Responsibilities include:
Performingscreening anddiagnostic mammograms, positioning patients correctly foroptimal image quality, andassisting with biopsies.
Assigning tasks to other technologists, providing guidance and training tonew staff, evaluating performance, and addressing any issues within the department
Monitoring equipment functionality, performing quality assurance checks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (MQSA), andidentifying potential quality issues
Explaining procedures to patients, addressing concerns,maintaining patient confidentiality, and coordinating follow-up appointments.
Maintainingaccurate patient records, scheduling appointments, managing staff schedules, and reporting to the Mammography Supervisor.
This position will work a day shift from 8:00-4:30.
Preferred Criteria
Prior leadership experience
Prior Epic experience
Required Criteria
3 years of related work experience
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered in Radiologic Technology and Mammography
Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license
Graduate of approved School of Radiology
High School Diploma/GED
Pay Range:
$51.70 - $76.82The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
