STV’sLand Development team in Owings Mills is growing and seeking a mid-careerLandscape Architect who wants to do meaningful work—projects that shape campuses, neighborhoods, and commercial environments across the Baltimore Metropolitan region and beyond.

In this role, you will:

  • Play a key role onhigh‑visibility projects spanning education, mixed‑use, housing, commercial, institutional, and infrastructure‑related development

  • Work side‑by‑side with engineers, architects, and project managers in afully integrated design process

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and contribute tositeand landscape design from early concepts through construction

  • Preparepresentation materials, permit packages, construction documents, and construction support for land development, building, and transportation projects

  • Develop designs usingCivil 3D, AutoCAD, and MicroStation, with opportunities to influence both concept and execution

  • Conductsite investigations, inventories, and analysis that inform clear, defensible design decisions

  • Designsustainable, resilient landscapes, including on‑structure podium and urban environments, that enhance the outdoor user experience

  • Preparetechnical reports, calculations, and feasibility studies

  • Collaborate closely with project managers to align design intent with scope, schedule, and budget

  • Participate inclient meetings and presentations, contributing to strong relationships and project success

  • Support project delivery by coordinating across disciplines and agencies

  • Stay current withindustry trends, tools, and best practices to continuously raise design quality

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s ormaster’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program

  • Licensed Professional Landscape Architect (PLA) (Maryland preferred)

  • 7+ yearsof professional experience in landscape architecture, land development, or a related field

  • Strong foundation insite planning, site analysis, and urban design principles

  • Proficiency inCivil 3D, AutoCAD, MicroStation, SketchUp, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite. (Experience with Enscape and Land F/X is a plus)

  • Working knowledge ofMaryland permitting processes (Baltimore City experience is a plus)

  • Familiarity with the MarylandForest Conservation Act and native/adaptive plant materials in the Northeastern region

  • Clear communicator with strong problem-solving and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Field & Site Work

This role includes regular opportunities forfieldwork and site visits, which may involve extended periods outdoors (up to 8 hours), uneven terrain, and varying weather conditions—balanced with office‑based design and coordination work.

Compensation Range:

$101,460.24 - $114,142.77
