 The Head ofCommunication Managers (Campaign and PMs)is responsible for the development and implementation ofcampaignand standaloneprojects and servicesallocated to theCommunication ManagementTeam as well asthe good co-operation withHeads of the different services provided by ICFNext. This includes the management of dependencies between the various tasks, coordination of the work progress, review and approval of technical reports and deliverables and resolution of problems of an operational,contractual and financial nature. The Head of Communication Managers has also the mission to improve our workflows, increase our efficiency whilestriking to deliver outstanding qualityand keepa strong focus on client engagement. S/he will also contribute to the Agency positioning, development of new servicesand engaged into strategic discussions.  

 

Main Responsabilities:
  • Supervising the work of theCommunicationManagementteam,andcoordinate theiractivitieson a daily basis. 

  • Supervising the Deputy Head of Communication Teamand CMs coordinator(under specific framework)andproviding guidance and coaching as to our ways of working.   

  • Ensuring the correctfinancial management of theTeam with the supportICF Next financial team (regular cost-controlling &monitor financial KPIs to ensure expected profitability,reporting to theco-Division lead)   

  • Ensuringhighquality work: meeting professional standards and client expectations, by ensuringPrince2 processes are applied bythe team, by closely monitoring key projects that require a special attention (due to complexity or importance) or byassisting in theresolution in due time of any critical situation that may arise. 

  • Working closely with theHeads ofdifferent services provided by ICFNext leaders in the setting up of projecttasks force to ensure best service delivery and smooth collaboration between the team involved. 

  • Facilitating smooth and fruitfulcooperationwith theCommunication Management Team and theother departments, especially with the Account Directors. 

  • EnsuringCommunication Managementteam is working at its best level by encouragingteam spirit, promotingprofessionalism andsupporting training needs.  

  • Ensuringthatregular reporting on clients and projects status is carried out by the Team to the Account Directors andrisks are flagged in advance

  • Facilitatingnew business development activities by providing strategic input, ensuring the provision of adequate resources(for technicalleader’s role)andfacilitate close collaboration with the account development and new business teams.Ensure delivery of qualitative andtimely manner of project references to support our bid preparedness activities. 

  • Contribute tostrategic account meetings andimplementation of actions to be implemented by the Team. 

  • Participatein key client meetings (kick offmeeting,salesmeeting with Ads, etc.) 

  • Proactively propose updates on methodologies, lessonslearned client intel to strengthen new business development andbid preparedness activities. 

  • Supportingrecruitment efforts for theTeam byproviding assistance in the definition of roles and identification ofstaffingneeds.  

  • Active participationto theAgency positioning, new services, communication trends by providing strategicinsights/share opinions/gather client interests.  

  • Cross division processes –come up with methodologies and solutions that can be replicated to other divisions or useful for cross-division projects. Attend regular meetings with otherICF heads of teams. 

  • Reporting on the performance of theTeam. 

  • Regularreportingto theco-division leader. 

 

Experience & Background

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in leading and delivering complex communication, campaign and/or project management activities, ideally in an agency, consultancy or client-service environment

  • Strong background in strategic communications, campaign delivery, project management and/or client service management

  • Proven experience overseeing large, multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating work across different service lines or departments

  • Solid experience managing complex client projects, including operational delivery, financial follow-up, risk management and quality control

  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, account teams and clients, including participation in strategic discussions and key client meetings

  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and processes, ideally including Prince2 or similar structured project management approaches

  • Experience contributing to business development, proposal preparation, project references and the development of new services or agency positioning
