Position Summary
ABC Imaging is seeking a skilledGraphics Specialist/ Prepress Specialist with3–5 years of experience in printing, digital graphics, and large-format production. This role involves working closely with high-end media, retail, and commercial clients on complexlarge-format graphic projects, includingvehicle wraps, bus graphics, environmental branding, and large-scale retail displays.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong, and experienced inprint production workflows, file preparation, and color management systems within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process incomingartwork and digital production files for print output
- Performpreflight checks to ensure files meet production standards and client specifications
- Prepare and optimize files forlarge-format printing, vehicle wraps, and complex graphic installations
- Continuously evaluate and improveprepress and production workflows for efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain and calibratedigital printing equipment using RIP software and color management tools
- Ensurecolor accuracy and consistency through proper calibration and profiling processes
- Collaborate withproduction, scheduling, and finishing teams to meet tight project deadlines
- Proof all work for accuracy incolor, scale, layout, content, and production specifications
- Support thegraphics and production teams on complex or high-volume projects
- Apply advanced knowledge ofAdobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Work withprint management and RIP software (e.g., Caldera or similar platforms)
- Implementcolor management practices, including ICC profiling, color gamut control, and press calibration
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in printing, prepress, graphic production, or digital graphics environment
- Advanced proficiency inAdobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Strong experience infile preparation, preflighting, and print production correction (layering, trapping, knockouts, overprints)
- Proven ability to manage complexlarge-format projects, including vehicle wraps and multi-panel graphics
- Solid understanding ofcolor management, ICC profiling, and industry color standards
- Experience withRIP software and color calibration tools (Caldera or equivalent preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment toprint accuracy and quality control
- Ability to work efficiently in afast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
