Overview

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst (AVP) is an intermediate-level position responsible for developing and enhancing application systems in coordination with global technology teams.

This role is suited for a strongReact-focused full stack developer with prior experience inAngular and Java-based backend systems, contributing to modern, scalable, and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications with a focus onReact.js and modern UI architecture
  • Modernize legacyAngular applications into React-based solutions
  • Develop backend services usingJava (8+), Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
  • Design and implementRESTful APIs for system integration
  • Build and maintainevent-driven data pipelines using Kafka or similar technologies
  • Integrate withSQL Server and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
  • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code aligned to engineering standards
  • Participate incode reviews and ensure code quality
  • Collaborate with global teams and contribute to solution design and delivery
  • Participate inAgile ceremonies and iterative development
  • SupportCI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar tools
  • Work withDocker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for containerized deployments
  • UseAI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity
  • Monitor applications usingELK, Grafana, and resolve production issues
  • Ensure applications meetsecurity, performance, and scalability standards

Qualifications

  • 6–8 years of experience infull stack development
  • Strong expertise inReact.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
  • Experience withstate management (Redux or Context API)
  • Prior experience withAngular (AngularJS or Angular 2+)
  • Strong backend experience inJava 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
  • Experience buildingREST APIs and distributed systems
  • Experience withKafka or similar pub/sub technologies
  • Hands-on experience withSQL Server and NoSQL databases
  • Understanding ofcloud-native architectures and microservices patterns
  • Experience withCI/CD tools and DevOps practices
  • Familiarity withDocker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
  • Experience withAI coding assistants
  • Strong coding, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Experience working inAgile and global team environments
  • Preferred: Experience infinancial services or enterprise systems

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
