As a Quality AssuranceTechnician 5, you will play a vital role inmaintaining the highest standards of product quality and plant systems. Your key responsibilities willinclude: 

  • Conduct Inspections: Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of our products and plant systems to ensure everything meets ourhigh standards. 

  • Document & Report: Accurately document and calculate inspectionresults and report your findings to management. 

  • Take Action: Proactively take correctiveactions, whennecessary, by alerting theappropriate personnel to adjust processes, andidentifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products. 

  • Collaborate: Work closely with your team and management to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards. 

  • Additional Assignments: Be ready to take on anyadditional tasks that come your way, contributing to the overall success of our operations. 

 
 
REQUIREMENTS: 
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience inaFSQArolepreferred or other QA type experience. 
Communication Skills: Must have excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills. Will interact with USDA and other points of contact. 
Special Skills:  

  • Proficiency in completing Tyson paperwork. 

  • Leadership abilities to motivate the hourly workforce. 

  • Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills. 

  • Solid math and organizational skills. 

  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications. 

  • Ability to function well under stress. 

  • Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed. 

 

Physical Requirements: Position involves heavy lifting (40 lbs. ormore). May include lifting, standing, and walking forlong periods of time.
