We are seeking a Director Medical Affairs Hematology Strategy Japan to join our Global Medical Affairs team, supporting our Japan business in ahybrid work model. In this role, you will providescientific andmedical leadership for our hematology portfolio and pipeline while collaborating withglobal,regional,local, andcross-functional teams. Discover your role:

  • Serve as thein-countrymedical lead for hematology assets and pipeline activities.
  • Represent Medical Affairs incross-functional planning withregional andglobal partners.
  • Direct FieldMedical execution, insight generation, andexternalscientific engagement.
  • Coach anddevelop FieldMedical colleagues through onboarding, feedback, and guidance.
  • Supportclinical development, research, investigator engagement, and site identification.
  • Leadmedical strategy for congresses, symposia,advisory boards, andeducational activities.
  • Deliverscientific presentations to healthcare professionals andkeystakeholders.
  • Youbuild trusted relationships and bringlocal patient and physician insights forward.

This role requires:

  • MD or PhD withstrongscientific expertise andextensive hematology experience.
  • More than 10-15 years ofrelevant pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Japanregulatory requirements.
  • Solid experience in drug development and lifecycle management.
  • Experience leading people and directing FieldMedical activities.
  • Deep knowledge ofsolid tumors;immuno-hematology experience preferred.
  • Experience in matrix organizations andcross-functional collaboration.
  • Thorough understanding of theJapanese healthcare environment.
  • Ability to shapestrategic andtactical planning opportunities.
  • Excellentmedical communication,analytical, andstakeholder management skills.
  • Publication record andtranslational orbasic research experience are a plus.
  • Business-levelJapanese andEnglish proficiency.
  • Ability tomanage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance standards.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10-20%.
