Are you interested in manufacturing processes and everything involved in producing finished products in the pulp and paper industry?

We are looking for new colleagues to join our MES team in Ostrava and help us implement MES solutions for customers in the Czech Republic and abroad. We work with the Finnish systemABB Ability™ MES for Pulp and Paper.

In this role, you can be based in our offices inOstrava, Pilsen, or Brno, or work in ahybrid setup combining home office and office work.

Who Are We Looking For?

• Secondary or university degree inInformation Technology, Economics, Process Automation, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience working withERP, MES, or other information systems
• Experience withPL/SQL orT-SQL programming
• Knowledge of databases such asOracle, MS SQL, etc.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe (approximately20-30 days per year)
• Good command of English, both written and spoken (communication with international colleagues and customers)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Willingness to learn the ABB development toolset based onPL/SQL

Nice to Have

• Experience withLinux
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Understanding of industrial communication, automation, and system interfaces
• Experience withC, C++, C#, or web development
