We’re looking for a skilledDay Shift Fitter to join our engineering team, keeping our fleet safe, reliable, and ready to roll. Every repair you make, every inspection you complete, helps thousands of passengers get where they need to be—on time, every time.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the heartbeat of our daytime operations, making sure our buses are road-ready and performing at their best:

• Carry outroutine servicing, inspections, and MOT preparation
• Diagnose and fixmechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• Repair and replace key components – fromengines and gearboxes to brakes and wiring
• Complete job cards and reports with precision (no mystery paperwork here)
• Work closely with the wider team tominimise downtime and maximise availability
• Keep the workshop safe, clean, and running like a well-oiled machine
• Stay ahead of the curve withongoing training and new tech

👨‍🔧 What We’re Looking For

You know your way around heavy vehicles and aren’t afraid to get stuck in:

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) inHeavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Experience as afitter/technician (bus or coach experience is a big plus)
• Strong diagnostic skills – you don’t just spot problems, you solve them
• Confident usingtools, equipment, and diagnostic systems
• Full UK driving licence (PCV Category D? Even better)
• Team player with solid communication skills
• A genuine commitment toquality and safety
