IOTA Group is looking for an experiencedCost Controller to join its teams within a major international energy company, supporting alarge-scale deep offshore Oil & Gas development project.

Based inParis, France, the position will contribute to the Project Controls function of a complex international development involving multiple packages such asFPSO, SURF, SPS and Project Management activities. The project is characterized by a significant CAPEX, international interfaces and high requirements in terms of cost optimization, technical quality and HSE performance.

AsCost Controller, you will support the project cost engineering function and be responsible for the cost control ofone or two major project packages, while contributing to wider Project Controls activities alongside the Lead Cost Engineer.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and updatephased cost forecasts based on Value of Work Done (VOWD) and contractor monthly reports.
  • Lead monthly cost review meetings with Package Teams and consolidate forecast data.
  • Prepare inputs formonthly accruals at contract level.
  • Develop monthly cost reports includingcost summaries, phasing profiles, variance analysis and quarterly/yearly performance.
  • Assess the cost impact of project changes and ensure their integration into thechange control process.
  • Coordinate withContracts & Procurement teams to evaluate approved, pending and potential changes.
  • Maintain accurate cost information and reconciliation betweenSAP and Cleopatra.
  • Ensure completed contracts, purchase orders and service orders are properly closed and recorded.
  • Supportre-baseline activities, Basis of Estimate updates and long-term/project cost reporting.
  • Contribute to annualcost risk analysis and assessment of remaining project contingency.
  • Produce ad hoc cost analysis, reports and presentation materials as required.
  • Proven experience inCost Control / Cost Engineering, preferably within large-scaleOil & Gas, offshore or major industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding ofproject cost forecasting, accruals, variance analysis, change control and cost reporting.
  • Experience working with major project packages and multidisciplinary Project Controls teams.
  • Knowledge ofSAP andCleopatra or comparable cost management systems is highly valued, as both systems are used for project cost management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manage complex cost data.
  • Ability to interact effectively with Package Managers, Planning, Contracts & Procurement and other project stakeholders.
  • Professional proficiency inFrench and English.
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural project environment.
