The client is a commercial framing specialist focused on delivering high-quality framing work to general contractors across the US market.

The company is looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator to support its growing project volume. This role will take ownership of estimating, bidding, and pre-construction activities, allowing leadership to focus more on day-to-day operations, project execution, and business growth.

Job Summary

We are seeking aCommercial Estimator with hands-on experience estimatingcommercial or industrial construction projects, preferably with exposure to framing or structural scopes.

You will be responsible for performing detailed takeoffs, preparing bids, handling RFIs and submittals, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and supporting pre-construction activities.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing a high volume of estimates, and communicating directly with clients when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailedquantity takeoffs for commercial framing and construction projects

  • Prepare accurate and competitivebids and estimates

  • Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and project scope

  • Prepare and manageRFIs, submittals, revisions, and bid updates

  • Conduct vendor outreach to obtain pricing and project information

  • Coordinate with subcontractors regarding scope, pricing, and project requirements

  • Provide generalpre-construction support and analysis

  • Communicate directly with clients and project stakeholders when required

  • Manage multiple estimating assignments and supporthigh-volume bidding

  • Complete as many estimates as project volume requires while maintaining accuracy

  • Work within client systems and construction software, including:

    • PlanSwift

    • Bluebeam

    • ProConnect

    • Procore

    • Revit

    • AutoCAD

  • Maintain organized estimating documentation and project records

  • Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, and potential estimating risks

  • Collaborate with leadership and project teams to support successful project bids

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of commercial or industrial construction estimating experience

  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on commercial estimating experience

  • Experience withcommercial construction projects is required

  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

  • Experience performing detailed takeoffs and preparing bids

  • Familiarity with at least one major construction estimating or bidding platform

  • FluentEnglish and Spanish, with native Spanish preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams

  • Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Strong organization, time management, and follow-through

  • Reliable internet connection and dedicated remote workspace

  • Willingness to commit to a1-year agreement with a 2-week termination clause

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience withcommercial framing or structural estimating

  • Experience estimating framing scopes for general contractors

  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and sequencing

  • Experience with multiple construction bidding platforms

  • Experience coordinating directly with subcontractors and vendors

  • Experience working with US-based general contractors or construction companies

  • Familiarity withPlanSwift, Bluebeam, ProConnect, Procore, Revit, and AutoCAD

What Will Make You Stand Out

  • Proven track record working oncommercial-only projects, rather than primarily residential work

  • Direct experience withcommercial framing or structural scopes

  • Ability to manage a high volume of estimates without sacrificing accuracy

  • Comfortable communicating directly with US-based clients

  • Strong vendor and subcontractor coordination experience

  • Ability to independently manage an estimate fromtakeoff through bid submission

  • Strong Spanish communication skills and comfort working with Spanish-speaking leadership or team members

  • Demonstrated reliability and ability to consistently meet deadlines in a remote environment

Non-Negotiables

  • Fluent English and Spanish

  • Native Spanish speaker preferred

  • Civil Engineering degree or strong commercial estimating background

  • Minimum3 years of commercial/industrial estimating experience

  • Commercial project experience — residential-only experience will not be sufficient

  • Familiarity with at least one major construction bidding/estimating platform

  • Reliable internet and ability to work full-time remotely

  • Availability for40 hours/week
