The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing clinical and operational oversight of program services, ensuring quality care is delivered in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. This position oversees service delivery, supports team member development, facilitates clinical staffing and treatment planning, monitors program performance, coordinates community partnerships,andensuresclientsreceiveappropriate,effective,andperson-centeredservices.TheClinicalSupervisorservesasakeyleaderinadvancingqualityoutcomes,supportingstaffsuccess,andpromotingacultureofcollaborationandcontinuousimprovement.

KeyResponsibilities:
·Leadandprovideclinicaloversightofbehavioralhealthservicestoensurehigh-quality,person-centeredcare.
·Mentor,coach,andsuperviseclinicalteammembersthroughregularsupervision,performancefeedback,andprofessionaldevelopmentplanning.
·Facilitateclinicalstaffingmeetings,diagnosticdispositionmeetings,andcaseconsultationstosupporteffectivetreatmentplanningandservicedelivery.
·Conductassessments,intakes,individualtherapy,familytherapy,andgrouptherapyservicesbasedonprogramandclientneeds.
·Coordinatecarewithcommunityagencies,referralsources,healthcareproviders,andfamilysupportstoensurecomprehensiveservicedelivery.
·Monitorclientprogress,treatmenteffectiveness,transitionplanningactivities,andoverallqualityoutcomes.
·Reviewclinicaldocumentation,progressnotes,treatmentplans,andclientrecordstoensurecompliancewithregulatoryandaccreditationstandards.
·Completerecordreviewsandqualityassuranceactivitieswhileaddressingidentifieddeficienciesandsupportingcorrectiveactionplans.
·Overseestaffproductivity,directserviceexpectations,andserviceutilizationtoensureappropriatedeliveryofcare.
·Managestaffingschedules,coverageplans,andtime-offrequeststomaintainuninterruptedprogramoperationsandlicensingcompliance.
·Assistwithprogrambudgeting,fiscalplanning,servicedeliverymonitoring,andexpendituremanagement.
·Respondtocrisissituations,provideclinicalguidance,andensureincidentreportingrequirementsarecompletedappropriately.
·Collaboratewithleadershiponqualitymanagementinitiatives,performanceimprovementefforts,andstrategicprogramobjectives.
·Developandmaintainpartnershipswithcommunityorganizationsandreferralsourcestoenhanceclientaccesstoservices.
·Monitorfacilityenvironments,vehicles,andoperationalfunctionstosupportsafety,cleanliness,andeffectiveprogramoperations.
·Participateinorganizationalinitiativesandperformotherdutiesasassigned.
Education,Experience,and/orCredentialQualifications:
· Master's degree in Social Work,Counseling,Psychology,PsychiatricNursing,oracloselyrelatedfieldwithatleastthree(3)yearsofprofessionalexperienceinbehavioralhealthorsubstanceusedisordertreatmentandone(1)yearofsupervisoryexperienceinsubstanceusedisordertreatment;OR
· Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling,Psychology,PsychiatricNursing,oracloselyrelatedfieldwithatleastfour(4)yearsofprofessionalexperienceinbehavioralhealthorsubstanceusedisordertreatmentandtwo(2)yearsofsupervisoryexperienceinsubstanceusedisordertreatment;AND
·QualifiedAddictionProfessionalcertificationthroughtheMissouriCredentialingBoard,Inc.orapplicableStateBoardwithfour(4)yearsofprofessionalexperienceinsubstanceusedisordertreatmentandthree(3)yearsofsupervisoryexperience;OR
·Missouri-licensedCounselor,Psychologist,orPhysicianwithatleastone(1)yearofprofessionalexperienceinbehavioralhealthorsubstanceusedisordertreatmentandone(1)yearofsupervisoryexperienceinsubstanceusedisordertreatment.
·QualifiedMentalHealthProfessionalmeetingoneofthefollowingcriteria:
·PhysicianlicensedunderMissourilawtopracticemedicineorosteopathywithtraininginmentalhealth.
·Psychiatristlicensedunderapplicablelaw.
·PsychologistlicensedunderMissourilawwithspecializedtraininginmentalhealthservices.
·ProfessionalCounselorlicensedunderapplicablestatelawwithspecializedtraininginmentalhealthservices.
·ClinicalSocialWorkerwithaMaster'sdegreeinSocialWorkfromanaccreditedprogram.
· Master's or Doctorate degreeinCounselingandGuidance,BehavioralHealthCounseling,VocationalCounseling,Psychology,PastoralCounseling,FamilyTherapy,orarelatedfieldwithcompletionofapracticumorone(1)yearofsupervisedexperienceunderamentalhealthprofessional.
AdditionalQualifications:
·Successfulcompletionofbackgroundscreeningsincludingcriminalhistory,drivingrecord,abuse/neglect,andfingerprintchecks.
·Currentdriver'slicense,acceptabledrivingrecord,andcurrentautomobileinsurancerequired.
·Obtaindriver'slicenseinstateofresidency.
·FirstAidcertificationmustbeattainedwithinthree(3)monthsofemploymentandmaintainedthereafter.
·CPRcertificationmustbeattainedwithinthree(3)monthsofemploymentandmaintainedthereafter.
·BehavioralManagementtrainingmustbecompletedwithinthirty(30)daysofemploymentorduringthefirstavailableclassafterhire.
·Achievementofthirty-six(36)hoursoftrainingrequirementswithinatwo-yearperiodinaccordancewithapplicableregulations.
·Annualmaintenanceofalllicensesandcertificationsrequiredtoperformjobduties.
·Thoroughknowledgeofclinicalbestpracticesrelatedtomentalhealthandsubstanceusedisordertreatment.
·Strongleadership,supervision,staffdevelopment,andtrainingskills.
·Abilitytoevaluateprograms,monitoroutcomes,andimplementcorrectiveactionswhennecessary.
·Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
·Abilitytodevelopcollaborativerelationshipswithcommunitypartners,referralsources,clients,andteammembers.
