The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake, encourage, promote and facilitate urban renewal of Hong Kong in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government.  The URA adopts a comprehensive and holistic approach by ways of its two core businesses i.e. redevelopment and rehabilitation, as well as preservation, revitalisation and retrofitting, for creating a sustainable and quality living environment for the people of Hong Kong.  

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, implement, and drive comprehensive HumanResources& Administrationoperations as an HR Generalist, with a strong focus on talent acquisition, and/or learning & development. 

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for designated positions, coordinating onboarding andoffboarding processes for a smooth talent acquisition cycle. 

  • Design, coordinate, and execute training programs, and evaluate their overall effectiveness to enhance staff capabilities. 

  • Coordinate the launching and execution of annual performance reviewcycles, and support the administration and implementation of the annual salary review and variable pay exercises. 

  • Conduct data consolidation andvetting of appraisal and compensationdata, andassist in draftingproposals andboard papers to seek management approvals for salary adjustments and variable pay budgets. 

  • Handle staff relations, governance, and operational duties, including aligning internal policies and guidelines with the HK Employment Ordinance, resolving general staff inquiries and grievances, and organizing employee wellness/engagement events. 

  • Analyze workforce data to compile meaningful management reports andmanpower analytics, supporting data-driven decision-making and operational planning within the HR division 

  • Coordinate and implement HR projects and divisional initiatives,supporting other ad-hoc duties as and when required. 

Requirements: 

 

  • University Degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration or a related discipline, preferably with formal training in Human Resources Management/Development. 

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in sizeable organizations. 

  • Solid hands-on experience as an HR Generalist with key focus areas inrecruitment, and/or learning & development. 

  • Well-versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance. 

  • Strong organization, interpersonal, and communication skills. 

  • Proven ability to formulate comprehensive operational plans, and to drive positive adaptation and innovative practices during periods of change. 

  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Generative AI applications. 

  • Experience and knowledgein Workdayis preferred. 

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
