We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our team at QC Engineering. This full-time role involves operating and setting Durma and LVD CNC Press Brakes, interpreting engineering drawings, and ensuring accurate, high-quality sheet metal production. The successful candidate will work with the ERP system to support smooth production workflows and maintain high standards of accuracy and finish. This role requires CNC press brake experience, strong attention to detail, the ability to read engineering drawings, and an understanding of LEAN manufacturing principles.

Salary: (flexible for more experienced candidates)

Working Hours & Conditions: Afternoon Shift: 2.30pm – 11.30pm; 4 days per week; full-time (remote)

Holidays: TBD


Responsibilities:

    • Operate and setDurma and LVD CNC Press Brakes.
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
    • Set up machines and ensure correct tooling and production settings.
    • Produce sheet metal components to required specifications and quality standards.
    • Use theERP system to support production flow and job tracking.
    • Inspect finished work for accuracy, quality, and finish.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
    • FollowLEAN manufacturing principles and established production procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operatingCNC Press Brakes is highly preferred.
  • Experience withDurma and/or LVD Press Brakes is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and understandengineering/technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Understanding ofLEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
  • Experience working with anERP system is an advantage.
