Overview
The Analyst is a core member of theStewardship team and reportsdirectlyto the Director of Stewardship at Asia Investor Group on Climate Change (AIGCC).
You will workas part of a six-memberteam (two of which are sector specialists)whoisresponsible for coordinating collaborative,systems-level engagement to achieve real worldclimateoutcomes through company-level decarbonisation.
In this role, you willberesponsible for conductingcorporate transition plan analysis forselectedcompanies andspecificindustrialsectors. Your analysis will actively drive regional corporate engagement activities,interactiveworkshops andhigh-impact investorroundtables, providing the essential research required to informinstitutionalinvestors’ stewardshipstrategies across Asia.
Note: Thisposition requiresprofessionalflexibility in working hoursto accommodateinternational meetingsoccurring outside ofstandardworking hours. Some travelingacross major Asian financial markets is expected forconveningflagship events, investorroadshows and corporate engagement dialogues.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and technical support for engagement meetingsorganised via various investor engagement programs.
- Deliver consistent, structured progress updates to the Directorof Stewardship,proactively recommendingrelevant stewardship tools andinterventions toaccelerate company engagements.
- Organise,facilitate and synthesize technical workshops,working groups and roundtable discussions toestablish regional best practicebenchmarks.
- Co-ordinatestructured thematic researchregarding
corporate transition strategies,sector pathways, capital allocation, climate governance,corporate policy engagement,physicalrisk and resilience and just transition frameworks.
- Collaboratecross-functionallywith AIGCC marketleads,sectorexperts andglobal investor networks asappropriate.

Core Requirements
- EducationalBackground:Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Corporate Management, Sustainability, or Environmental Science
- ProfessionalExperience:A minimum of 3 years incorporate financial analysis, responsible investment,equities analysis or economic research tracking climate or environmental matters.
- ProjectOwnership:Demonstratedability toautonomously championinternal projects from concept, and project design to final delivery
- Cross-functionalCollaboration: Proven experience collaborating
effectively with partners, global coalitions,
specialised consultants to delivershared project outcomes.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
- Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in a major Asian language (such as Chinese, Korean, or Japanese) is highlyadvantageous to support regional company dialogues, though not a strict requirement.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding professional writing capabilities and high-confidence verbal presentation skills tailored for institutional financial audiences.
- Operational Agility: Highly self-motivated, mission-driven individual comfortable operatingwith high autonomy within distributed or remote team environments.
- AI Literacy & Tool Fluency: Practical experienceutilizing advanced AI tools, prompt engineering techniques, or large language models tooptimize workflows and scale operational output.
