PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for reconciling, reviewing and resolving issues related to Balance Sheet GLaccounts. To build effective control environment and governance mechanisms forvarious reconciliation pyramids, the analyst will play the role of a subject matter expertand will partner with HQ to enhance the team’s contextual knowledge.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain Financial Integrity:
Responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
Responsible for timely and accurate closure of month end activities.
Internal controls:
Analyze account balances and activity for accuracy and proactively identify risks
and take necessary actions to implement corrective controls.
Operational Efficiency:
Responsible for preparation, analysis and report out of metrics for management
reporting.
Responsible for creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation for the
respective accounts.
Identify process improvement ideas to drive operational efficiencies and improve
control environment.
Problem solving:
Participate and Lead meeting with stake holders to resolve open issues.
Qualified CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA with 2+ years of relevant GL accounting experience
or inter-qualified accountant with over 5+ years of GL experience.
Detail oriented and work independently.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload, while meeting strict deadlines andmanaging pressure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
Hands on experience of any ERP like SAP, Oracle, Workday etc.
Working knowledge on Automation tools.
