Responsibilities
·Handle day-to-day air freight operations and keep shipments on track from booking to final delivery;
·Prepare air freight quotations and follow through by organizing shipments once the offer is accepted;
·Coordinate bookings with airlines and agents, respecting cut-off times and capacity constraints;
·Prepare and check shipment documentation and instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance;
·Track shipments daily and proactively update customers and internal stakeholders;
·Manage exceptions such as delays, rollovers, missing documents, customs holds, and route changes;
·Liaise with customers, carriers, trucking partners, warehouses, and internal teams to solve issues fast;
·Maintain accurate shipment data, costs, and status updates in internal systems to support billing and reporting;
·Support continuous improvement by suggesting practical fixes to recurring operational issues.
Requirements
·Around 1–2 years of experience in air freight operations or freight forwarding;
·Exposure to both import and export is preferred;
·Basic understanding of air freight documentation and operational flow;
·Ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments under time pressure;
·Strong communication skills in email and phone, with a customer-focused mindset;
·High attention to detail and ownership mentality;
·Good MS Office or Google Workspace skills; experience with logistics systems is a plus;
·English required; additional languages are an advantage;
·Dangerous goods knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory.
