What You’ll Do as a3D Fit Specialist

You will lead the development, governance and continuous improvement of fit standards across Womenswear, Menswear and Childrenswear, ensuring consistent and customer-focused fit outcomes across all product categories. Working closely with Product, Technical, Sourcing and Supplier teams, you will drive the creation and application of standardised fit blocks, using customer insights and stakeholder feedback to refine fit standards and enhance product performance.

You will champion the adoption of digital product development technologies, supporting the business strategy to reduce approval lead times, minimise physical fit sessions and increase efficiency across the development process. By leading the implementation of digital fitting solutions and embedding digital ways of working, you will help reduce sampling requirements, lower costs and improve speed to market. The role also holds responsibility for maintaining and governing technical documentation, digital assets and block libraries, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and aligned with business requirements.

 

  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of a global block library, ensuring block details are delivered within critical path deadlines to support a fast-moving product strategy, enhance consistency, and improve right-first-time sample accuracy.
  • Extensive understanding of apparel grading and its practical application to ensure accurate product fit and size progression.
  • Work closely with QA Managers and QA teams to drive the implementation, compliance, and ongoing use of the Global Block Library within head office functions and the supplier base.
  • Collaborate with QA and Buying teams to roll out and maintain Fit Expression, Length Guides, and fit standards and fit processes. Ensuring a consistent customer fit experience and adherence to agile ways of working.
  • Lead the governance of apparel grading rules, points of measure standards, Fitting and Sealing processes, partnering with stakeholders and suppliers to ensure consistent application, fit integrity, and adherence to best practices.
  • Partner with QA teams to lead fit-focused initiatives and the adoption of digital fitting solutions, providing training and technical support to ensure effective utilisation across the business.
  • Work cross-functionally with Buying, Design, and the global supply base to drive the implementation of digital product development and fitting technologies, embedding new workflows and supporting the transformation of product development practices across the business.
  • Ensure technical fit requirements are aligned to the needs of customers across all retail markets, including growth markets, and are consistently delivered across all product categories.
  • Develop and maintain standards documentation and training resources, providing guidance and upskilling opportunities for stakeholders and suppliers as required.
  • Champion digital innovation, keeping abreast of evolving technologies and advancements in virtual garment creation while building internal and external networks to drive opportunities across digital product development systems and workflows.
