REGIONAL LIQUOR RETAIL MANAGER (Pietermaritzburg To Southern Drakenberg)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Oversee the operations of 6 liquor retail outlets.

2.      Manage staff, shifts and overall store performance.

3.      Manage bulk buying, GP and range management.

4.      Oversee stock control and stocktaking.

5.      Arrange wedding, function and other bulk liquor quotations.

6.      Ensure compliance with retail liquor legislation and licensing requirements.

7.      Handle licence administration and required documentation.

8.      Resolve operational and customer-related issues.

9.      Maintain high customer service standards.

10.  Monitor sales, stock and operational performance.

11.  Travel between outlets and provide hands-on operational support.

REQUIREMENTS

1.      Matric with Mathematics 50% or higher.

2.      Previous liquor retail experience (SAB experience advantageous)

3.      Experience in bulk buying, stocktaking and GP/range management.

4.      Understanding of retail Liquor Law and licensing administration.

5.      Previous staff supervision/management experience.

6.      Valid driver's licence with own transport

7.      Computer literate – MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

8.      Customer-focused, self-motivated and strong problem-solving skills.

9.      Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

10.  Willing to relocate to Underberg.

Advantageous.

1.      Knowledge of Q-PRO, Retail Operations Checklist and SIGMA.

2.      Previous multi-outlet management experience.
