Leverage yourexpertise in project finance, financial modelling, creditanalysis and due diligence to support the origination, underwriting,execution and management of complex project finance transactions focused primarily on Canadian agri-food processing,manufacturing and production assets. Â
Â
As a Project Finance, Senior Analyst,you'll work closely with internal teams and external advisors to assess project finance opportunities that support FCC’s strategic priorities in Canadian agriculture and food.You'll provide analytical leadership throughout the transaction lifecycle, frominitial evaluationto portfolio management. Your strong financial modelling and project finance analysis capabilities will enable you to prepare underwriting analyses, support transaction structuring and execution, andmonitor ongoing portfolio performance.Â

Whatyou'll doÂ
Develop andmaintain detailed project finance cash flow models and scenario analysesÂ
Conduct financial, commercial, technical and sponsor due diligenceÂ
Assess project risks and recommend mitigantsÂ
Prepare underwriting analyses, creditapplications and approval materialsÂ
Support structuring,pricing and execution of project finance transactionsÂ
Coordinate external advisors and internal stakeholdersÂ
Monitor portfolio performance, covenantcompliance and early warning indicatorsÂ
Research sectors,markets and industry trends relevant to project finance opportunitiesÂ

Whatyou'll bring to the teamÂ

Required qualifications:Â
Abachelor’s degreein business administration,finance or a related fieldÂ
Minimumseven years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, commercial banking, private credit, corporatefinance or investment banking(or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Â
Extensive knowledge of project finance, credit analysis, duediligence and capital structure analysisÂ
Provenexpertise in financial modelling and underwriting analysisÂ
Demonstratedproficiency in written communication and portfolio managementÂ
Strong capability to assess project risks and support transaction decision-makingÂ

Preferred qualifications:Â
AnMBA, CFAdesignation or similar professional designationÂ
