Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Serve as the technical lead forplant automation, process control systems, and electrical infrastructure
- Design, program, and maintainPLC (Programmable Logic Controller), HMI (Human Machine Interface), PID control loops, and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) systems
- Troubleshoot and resolveelectrical and process control issues, improving plant reliability and operational performance
- Lead and supportcapital projects, including control system upgrades, migrations, and new system implementations
- Act as the primary contact forprocess control systems, data historians, and control networks
- Identify and implementprocess control and automation improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and product quality
- Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to supportproduction, EH&S (Environmental Health & Safety), cost, and quality goals
- Lead investigations intoprocess control incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained
- Standardize and optimizecontrol strategies, logic, and HMI interfaces across the facility
What Makes You the Right Fit
- Bachelor’s degree inElectrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution
- 5+ years of experience in automation, process control, or electrical engineering within amanufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge ofinstrumentation, control systems architecture, and process control principles
- Hands-on experience withPLC programming (Rockwell preferred), HMI configuration, and process control troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, includingP&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), electrical drawings, and control logic diagrams
- Experience supporting or leadingcapital projects and system upgrades
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate acrosscross-functional teams
- Ability to support a24/7 manufacturing operation as needed

- Experience inhigh-hazard, food, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Knowledge ofProcess Safety Management (PSM) elements such as Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Management of Change (MOC)
- Experience standardizing or optimizingplant-wide automation and control systems
