About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and experiencedRecruiter to join our team in Brampton.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on recruiting position supporting hiring needsacross both Canada and the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting for a variety of positions, industries, and locations while managing multiple job openings and hiring priorities at the same time.
We are looking for someone who is organized, confident on the phone, communicates well, and knows how to keep recruitment moving even when priorities change throughout the day.
Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment process from sourcing and screening through placement

Recruit for positionsthroughout Canada and the United States

Manage multiple job openings, locations, and hiring requirements simultaneously

Conduct high-volume and mass recruitment when required

Recruit for a wide variety of positions, including general labour, skilled trades, warehouse, industrial, administrative, and other roles

Source candidates through Indeed, job boards, internal databases, referrals, and other recruiting methods

Review resumes and conduct phone screenings and interviews

Match candidates to positions based on experience, qualifications, availability, location, and job requirements

Coordinate interviews, start dates, onboarding, and required documentation

Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process

Follow up with candidates to confirm attendance, availability, and job interest

Build and maintain strong pipelines of qualified candidates for current and upcoming positions

Keep candidate records and recruitment activity organized and up to date

Work closely with operations and management to understand hiring needs and changing priorities

Handle urgent staffing requests and tight hiring deadlines

Assist with general recruitment and administrative duties as required
What We're Looking For

Previous recruiting, staffing, or high-volume hiring experience is strongly preferred

Experience recruiting in both Canada and the United States is considered a strong asset

Comfortable recruiting for several different positions and geographic markets at once

Experience with mass hiring and high-volume recruitment is an asset

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Confident speaking with candidates over the phone

Strong organization and time-management skills

Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working with hiring targets and deadlines

Good computer skills and ability to learn recruiting software and applicant tracking systems

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role
You will do well in this position if you enjoy talking to people, move quickly, stay organized, and take ownership of filling open positions.
We are looking for arecruiter, not simply an administrator. You should be comfortable actively sourcing candidates, making calls, conducting interviews, following up, and managing multiple recruitment requirements from start to finish.
Because our recruitment needs spanboth Canada and the U.S., you should also be comfortable recruiting across different cities, provinces, states, time zones, and labour markets.
