Supervising Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge

We are seeking a reliable and confidentSupervising Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee the daily pharmacy operations of a community-based retail pharmacy. Responsibilities

• Serve as the Supervising Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge and ensure pharmacy operations comply with applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  

• Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications while maintaining a high standard of patient safety.
  

• Oversee day-to-day pharmacy operations, including prescription workflow, inventory, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  

• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy support staff.
  

• Communicate with patients, physicians, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medication-related questions.
  

• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and support the continued growth and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
  

Requirements

• ActiveNew York State pharmacist license in good standing.
  

• Ability and willingness to serve as the Supervising Pharmacist / Pharmacist-in-Charge.
  

• Strong understanding of retail pharmacy operations, prescription processing, and pharmacy compliance requirements.
  

• Experience with Micro Merchant Systems, or similar pharmacy management software preferred; training can be provided if needed.
  

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a responsible and dependable approach to work.
  

• Previous pharmacist experience is preferred, but qualified recent pharmacy graduates with the appropriate licensure and knowledge may also be considered.
  

Schedule: Monday–Friday,  10 AM–5:00 PM.
