Job Summary
This contract role supportsRight of Way and real estate functions on infrastructure projects, operating at either the Assistant or Staff level depending on candidate experience. The position is based in Reading, PA, and serves project teams working across energy, utility, and construction environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, prepare, review, and interpret Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses
- Complete rights and restriction reviews
- Complete permitting requirements as needed
- Research and review of real property related documents
- Understand and interpret easement agreements
- Support translation of data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database
- Complete quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries from Right of Way field agents
- Compile technical data to be presented to Right of Way project team
- Support project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, vegetation management team, Right of Way managers, and real estate coordinators as required
- Attend and participate in public open houses as requested
- Support client needs as directed
- Efficient at working independently as well as in a team environment
- Manage and oversee several projects at once

Preferred Skills
- Experience with electric facilities or railroads preferred but not required
- Experience with Google Earth and familiarity with construction drawings is preferred but not required
- Designation from IRWA not required but desirable
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent β minimum 5 years of relevant experience required
- Associate degree β minimum 3 years of relevant experience required
- Bachelor's degree β minimum 2 years of relevant experience required
- Valid driver's license required; must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the company's vehicle driving privileges
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant Right of Way or real estate experience (with Bachelor's degree); minimum 3 years (with Associate's); minimum 5 years (with high school diploma or equivalent)
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Experience with electric facilities or railroads
- Experience with Google Earth and familiarity with construction drawings
