What Youâll Be Doing:
Ready to take your career to the next level? Weâre on the hunt for a proactive, wellâregarded Agency Business Manager with knowledge across digital and print to grow revenue and forge long lasting partnerships across an established patch. This role is a big deal for our teamâs success, and itâs a fantastic opportunity to stretch your skills, build your network and thrive in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Youâll take the lead on dayâtoâday agency relationships, shape and deliver sales strategy, steer negotiations and produce maximum yield from the full Reach portfolio. Youâll craft and run quarterly business plans for your patch, and team up with fellow Agency Business Managers across our sales hubs to keep our approach aligned. Youâll also partner with multiple areas of the business including Programmatic, Trading, Publishing, Finance, Ad Ops, Editorial and Invention to drive advertising revenue and profitability for the team and the wider Reach plc business.
Youâll be the expert on your agency patch, and will develop close relationships to key planners, investment teams and digital seats. Youâll be a key team player, understanding an agencyâs brief or client problem and create, sell and deliver a multi-platform, data-driven solution.
What you need to succeed:
To succeed in this role, youâll need demonstrable experience in a media owner or media agency environment, with a proven track record in sales strategy and revenue growth. Youâll be highly numerate and have strong commercial acumen, enabling you to identify revenue opportunities and report performance with precision.
You should have established, influential relationships across agency planning and content teams, and strong communication skills are essential, especially with the ability to present and articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
As a collaborative leader, youâll build robust networks with internal stakeholders, and embody the core values of Reach Solutions:Â Collaboration, Imagination, Determination, Excellence, and Professionalism. Youâll need a high-energy, engaging personality that drives change and influences outcomes at a fast pace.
Your marketplace knowledge should include a strong understanding of the branded content marketplace, as well as digital, national, and regional press media. A solid understanding of how Reach products fit into the wider UK media landscape is key.
