Job SummaryĀ
The Remote Patient MonitoringTechnician - RPMis responsible for tracking and analyzing patient health data usingremote technology platforms to support healthcare providers in managing patient care. This role focuses on monitoring vital signs,identifying abnormal readings, and ensuringtimely communication between patients and healthcare teams. The Remote Support Technician - RPM serves as a key liaison, educating patients on device usage, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuringcompliance in remote monitoringprogram.Ā Responsible for documentation and reporting of all compliance activity.Ā The Remote Support Technician - RPM must be able todemonstrate the ability to work both independently and work in a manner that is consistent withCRMS mission to provide excellence in care.
Responsibilities:
Monitorpatients'healthdata:regularly review incoming health data (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation) through remote monitoring platformsĀ
Identify andescalateabnormalreadings:recognize trends andvariations from normal ranges, flaggingabnormal andcritical alerts and escalating concerns to theappropriate healthcare provider for interventionĀ
Educatepatients andcaregivers:provide guidance on the proper use of remote monitoring devices, explain the significance of their readings, and encourage adherenceĀ
Managenoncompliance andpatientengagement:monitor patient adherence to remote monitoring program,determinereasons for noncompliance, and provideguidance and support to encourage participation; follow up with patients who are not regularly transmitting dataĀ
Document andreport:maintainaccuratedocumentation of patient interactions, abnormal readings,andescalations; ensure compliance with healthcare policies and regulations, including HIPAAĀ
Coordinate withhealthcareteams:communicate findings, abnormal trends, and patient concerns to physicians, nurses, and care coordinators tofacilitatetimely medical interventionsĀ
Troubleshoottechnicalissues:assist patients in resolving connectivity or device-related issues, ensuringaccurate data transmission and functionality; coordinate with technical support teams if necessaryĀ
Participate incontinuoustraining andimprovement:stay up to date with advancements in remote monitoring technology and modalitiesĀ
Remote monitoringexpertise; be a resourcefor compliance ofremote device management for the practice physicians and clinical staffĀ
Resolveotherissues appropriate to positionĀ Ā
Responsible for contributing to company oversight and information security functions as outlined in the employee handbook under āRemote Employee HIPAA GuidelinesĀ

Qualifications:
Certified MArequiredĀ
Strong patient education skills
Excellent phone demeanorĀ
Self-Starter and capable of working independentlyat home
Must be patient, empathetic,reliable, and flexibleĀ
Strong interpersonal andwriting/communication skillsĀ
Excellent documentation/reporting skills

Physical Requirements:
Remote office work with prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerĀ
Viewing monitors forlong periods of time,which may cause eye strainĀ
