PRIMARYOBJECTIVES:

To actively contribute to the companys vision of putting the world on vacation by providing exceptional service to owners while performing gardening and general care of landscape, nursery and growth of plants.

At Travel + Leisure our vision is to put the World on Vacation, in your positon as the Groundsperson you will be responsible for performing gardening and general care of landscape, nursery and growth of plants throughout the property.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:(Include but not limited to:)

• Maintains interior and exterior of common areas asrequired
• Maintains all resort equipment in workingcondition
• Maintains positive relations with other staff andmanagement
• Interact with owners and guests in a polite and friendlymanner
• Anticipate owner and guest needs and work proactively to meet and exceedexpectations
• Be familiar with and adhere to legislative obligations/requirements and the Manager’s Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Work and behave in a way that does not endanger yourself or others in the workplace
• Report any unsafe practices, incidents or accidents on the appropriate forms to the OH&S Consultant immediately
• Employees must ensure they comply with Travel + Leisure’s OH&S Policy, procedures and any reasonable instruction given by Travel + Leisure.

• Employees must not wilfully place at risk the health and safety of themselves or any other persons in the workplace and to not wilfully or recklessly interfere with or misuse anything provided for health and safety
• Display Hospitality with HEART service to all internal and externalparties.
• Display innovation through inspiring, creating and improving processes andproducts.
• Show integrity in all aspects of the position by doing the right thing, taking responsibility and delivering on the promise.
• Display leadership values by ensuring effective communication and respecting your peers and managers. Support others within the team and empower each other wherever possible.
• Carry out all landscaping requirements to maintain a high standard of resortgrounds.
• Maintain nursery and growth ofplants
• Performs daily dousing forinsects
• Provides seasonal care for resortgrounds
• Maintain all resort equipment in workingcondition
• Maintain positive relations with all other staff andmanagement
• Removal of rubbish daily
• Responsible for providing a neat, professionalappearance.
• Provides exceptional customer service to our owners andguests.
• Quality cleaning of all common areas, including sales offices, BBQs, pool area and recreationroom
• Maintain adequate usage of materials inventory without wastage or inappropriate use and assist in performing monthly inventory and stock control.
• Actively participate in the Preventative Maintenance and Common Area Deep CleanPrograms.

KEY POSITIONCRITERIA:

• Ability to work a flexible seven day rotating roster when required
• Understanding of generalgardening/landscaping
• Understanding of chemicalhandling
• Previous experience in a similar rolepreferred
• Ability to perform basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance and electrical repairs as legally allowed
• Ability to use and care for tools and equipment
• Ability to perform routine maintenance of pool andspa
• Ability to recognise and solve problems in theworkplace
• Ability to work productively in a fast paced, changingworkplace
• Ability to deliver quality customer service to all internal and externalcustomers
