Administration Assistant
Cherwell Hospital â Banbury
Full time hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday) - Occasional flexibility on Saturdays will be required
The Cherwell hospital is located in Banbury, Oxfordshire - a day case/Inpatient facility that provides high quality healthcare for patients with health insurance, patients who are self-funding treatment or NHS patients exercising choice through the e-referral system.Â
The RoleÂ
We currently have a great opportunity for an Administrator to join our team at The Cherwell Hospital. You will be an integral part of the team who are committed to delivering the highest quality outcomes in a supported environment where you will be valued for your skills and expertise. This is a busy role liaising with patients, consultants and all hospital departments.âŻWe need an individual with a professional approach, excellent verbal communication skills, initiative and the ability to work within a team.âŻÂ
High-level duties include:âŻÂ
Handle all patient enquiries promptly and efficiently for a variety of clinical departmentsÂ
Provide detailed information to patient enquiries delivering excellent customer serviceÂ
Develop and maintain good working relationships with all internal departments across both HospitalsÂ
Build and maintain excellent relationships with consultants and their secretariesÂ
Supporting patients with their enquiriesÂ
Communication via phones and emailsÂ

What youâll bring with youÂ
Proven track record of achieving targets whilst maintaining an outstanding level of customer serviceÂ
An excellent standard of computer literacy to include experience in Word & ExcelÂ
The ability to work under pressure whilst remaining patient/ consumer focusedÂ
Experience working in a private healthcare setting is preferredÂ
Good attention to detail and accuracyÂ
The ability to make decisions and use your initiativeÂ
A flexible and positive attitudeÂ
