Pay: $28.00–$31.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Duration: 6-month contract with possible contract-to-hire opportunity

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Scheduler to coordinate patient scheduling and registration for Diagnostic Imaging services. This position serves as a key point of contact for patients, referring providers, and imaging staff and requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of calls and scheduling requests.
Key Responsibilities

Schedule diagnostic imaging appointments, including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, and Vascular Ultrasound

Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound patient and provider calls

Verify patient demographics, insurance information, physician orders, and referring provider information

Provide patients with exam preparation instructions, including fasting, contrast preparation, medication guidelines, and arrival times

Schedule appointments according to imaging protocols, urgency, patient needs, and department availability

Register, check in, and assist patients as needed

Monitor scheduling work queues and respond to requests promptly

Communicate scheduling changes, delays, and special instructions to patients and imaging staff

Collaborate with technologists, nurses, radiologists, providers, and other departments

Maintain accurate documentation within EMR and scheduling systems

Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements
Required Qualifications

Previous radiology/imaging scheduling experience

Previous high-volume call center experience

Strong customer service and communication skills

Experience working with patient scheduling and/or EMR systems

Ability to accurately manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications

Medical front desk or patient registration experience

Experience with MACS Enterprise scheduling
