About the Position
The is seeking aSenior Project Manager to lead and manage large, complex federaldesign-build construction programs. This is along-term, full-time opportunity with growth potential and direct reporting to Executive Leadership.
The ideal candidate will haveextensive experience managing federal construction contracts and demonstrate leadership in every phase of project delivery—from preconstruction and proposal development through execution, closeout, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects ofproject execution including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, subcontracting, cost control, and quality/safety compliance.
Leadpreconstruction efforts: proposal preparation, bid document coordination, design integration, and strategic procurement.
Direct and coordinate the work ofsubcontractors, vendors, designers, and internal staff.
Prepare, track, and updatecost-loaded CPM schedules.
Submit and managemonthly pay applications, subcontractor billing, and project financial reporting.
Ensure fullcontract compliance throughout project lifecycle.
Serve as theprimary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Proactivelyidentify and pursue new project opportunities within existing and potential federal programs.
Maintain responsibility forproject P&L, reporting on budget forecasts, and cost analysis.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree inConstruction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
At least10 years of experience in managing federaldesign-build construction projects.
One or more of the following certifications/licenses (or an additional 10 years of experience in lieu of certification):
Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Designated Design-Build Professional (DBIA)
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA)
Proven experience withfirm-fixed-price federal construction contracts.
Familiarity with federal contract vehicles includingGSA, NAVFAC, USACE, WHS.
Strong knowledge ofconstruction documentation including specifications, drawings, schedules, and contracts.
Ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance.
