Daniels Health and MCF Environmental Services partner together to create safe Medical Waste Disposal Services. We are looking to hire a Plant Operator for our medical waste treatment Facility in Ellenwood, GA. A Warehouse Associate has a widely varying role, from checking in containers, double checking paperwork, moving/unloading specific waste containers, recertifying 55 gallon drums, and weighing incoming sharps containers. What will your job involve?

  • Weigh incoming regulated medical waste containers(using our Weighbridge)
  • Load/operate our autoclave machine(a pressure chamber to melt materials)
  • Recertifying 55 Gallon drums
  • Counting universal waste (lightbulbs, batteries, etc.) and adding them to the manifest
  • Experience in training others
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs and handling 55 gallon drums
  • Provide attention to detail, especially with the paperwork required to process these items
  • Standing for extended periods of time happily and comfortably
  • Working well with a team because we are all about team work! 

What are we looking for?

  • “Can‑do” attitude and commitment to safe, efficient work
  • Experience in a labor‑intensive, warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing job
  • Proven reliability and tenure with previous employers
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds safely and repeatedly
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Comfortable working around medical and universal waste with PPE
  • Able to stay productive without constant supervision and look for the next task
  • Takes ownership when something is wrong and follows through on corrections
  • Works respectfully with coworkers and leaders, even under pressure
  • Looking for stable, long‑term work to support personal and family responsibilities
