What is the opportunity? Â
This senior regional leadership role will lead,coachand develop a team ofbusiness marketssales professionals to support client retention, acquisition and growth,optimizing revenue and providing superior customer service to our small business client segment.You will leadthe implementation of strategic initiatives, pursue market opportunities, and profile/enhance RBC’s brand with governments, specific industrysegments and community groups.Your priority is to lead your team and work closely with RBC partnersto helpRBCmaintain its dominant position in the marketplace. Your passion in creating success for our small business clients, employees, and communities is the cornerstone of your success in this opportunity. Ideally, the most suitable candidate will be those individuals who understand the dynamics and financing challengesassociated withour small business enterprise community.Â

What will you do?Â
Lead the implementation of strategic initiatives and aggressively pursue market opportunities across the region, ensuring RBC grows its market share leadership positionÂ
Champion sales and management practices to maximize market contributions to achieve superior client experience and enhance employee capability and engagement whileleveraging full RBC Financial Group capabilities, including close collaboration with key partnersÂ
Demonstrate your market leadership by promoting the RBC brand and enhancing visibility by developing andmaintaining a network in the business community,working closely withbusiness leaders,COI’s,and community groups Â
Manage the business to achieve market andsales objectives while balancing both operational and credit risk requirementsÂ
Employ digital channels, drive client awareness, and ensure your team is enabling clients with RBC digital access Â

What do you need to succeed?Â
Must-haveÂ
Proventrack recordof sales leadership, coaching and people development abilityÂ
Astute business acumen with strong knowledge of financial industry andfamiliar with the dynamics and financing challenges associated with a small businessenterprise..Â
Ability to develop andmaintain strong business and community networksÂ
Have successfully led substantive change initiatives and have proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholdersÂ
Experience with emerging communications and technology (i.e. web based meetings, social media, Digital Banking and Mobile Applications)Â
Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
Bachelor of Business Administration. (MBA, an asset)
