Location: Johns Creek, GA 30097 (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months, with the possibility to extend.
Working hours:40 hrs/week, M-F, 8am-5pm
Job Description:
- Perform method development and method improvement
- Perform method validations, method transfers with other sites or suppliers, and periodic method reviews
- Perform compendial assessments and changes
- Perform instrument qualifications, periodic validation reviews, and various instrument lifecycle tasks
- Manage complex technical projects and make key technical decisions
- Provide troubleshooting support to the analytical chemistry lab on instrument and method issues
- Provide support for laboratory investigations and corrective actions
- Method development/validation
- Instrument qualification
- Experience working in medical device or pharmaceutical fields
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
- Computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience with method validations and instrument qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Chemistry or related field
- Experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIM system
- Experience with Empower 3 or similar data acquisition system
