Senior DevOps Engineer

Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experiencedSenior DevOps Engineertoown, operate, and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure on GCP. You will be responsible for daily operations, deployments, monitoring and security across our Linux-based platform, enabling reliable and scalable application delivery.

Your responsibilities will entail:

• Administer and troubleshootUbuntu Linux servers, including user management and system hardening across production, staging, and UAT environments;
• Manage and deployDocker-based applications on GCP VMs, including container networking and lifecycle management;
• Design, build, and maintainGitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines supporting rolling and blue/green deployment strategies across all environments;
• Provision and manage cloud infrastructure usingTerraform and automate configuration management withAnsible;
• Set up, configure and operateOpenVPN for secure network access and user management;
• Monitor systems, set up alerting, and build dashboards usingNew Relic andGCP Monitoring;
• Own incident response end-to-end: detection, containment, resolution and post-mortem;
• ManageManaged MySQL,undertake monitoring duties, backups, access control and basic troubleshooting;
• Enforce security best practices with IAM roles, access policies, secrets management andSSL/TLS certificate lifecycle;
• Write and maintainBash scripts for automated tasks, cron jobs and deployment workflows;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

• University degree in IT or related field;
• 4-5 years of professional DevOps or infrastructure engineering experience
• Hands-on experience withLinux server administration on Ubuntu in production environments
• Proven experience runningDocker-based deployments on Linux VMs
• Solid experience withGCP - compute, networking, storage, and IAM
• Demonstrated experience designing and operatingGitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, including build, test, deploy workflows
• Practical knowledge ofTerraform for infrastructure-as-code provisioning
• Experience withAnsible for configuration management and automation
• StrongBash scripting skills for automation, cron jobs and deployment tasks
• Experience withNew Relic: installation, alerting, and dashboard configuration
• Sound knowledge ofIAM roles, credentials managementandSSL/TLS certificate issuing, renewal and management
• Experience working in an Agile environment, including sprint-based delivery, standups and close collaboration with development teams
• Knowledge and experience on the following would be considered as asset: Kubernetes, AWS or Azure in addition to GCP, Python scripting skills, MySQL performance tuning.
• Interest in GCP cost optimization and cloud resource efficiency is desirable.
• Comfortable working autonomously and owning infrastructure independently from day one
