SCCM Engineer (Contract – Remote)

Job Type: Contract (3–6 months with possible extensions)

Location: Fully Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experiencedSCCM Engineer to support a large enterprise environment focused on endpoint management, software deployment, and patching initiatives. This is a hands-on contract role working closely with IT infrastructure teams to ensure efficient and secure management of endpoint devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintainSCCM/MECM environment, including software deployment, patching, and configuration management
• Create, package, test, and deploy applications across enterprise environments
• Supportoperating system deployments (OSD) and image management
• Perform ongoingpatch management, including 3rd party patching solutions (e.g., Recast or similar)
• Assist withIntune / Endpoint Manager for device management and co-management scenarios
• Monitor SCCM performance, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure system reliability
• Maintain documentation for deployment processes and configurations
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support endpoint lifecycle management

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience withSCCM / MECM administration and engineering
• Hands-on experience withapplication packaging and deployment
• Experience withMicrosoft Intune / Endpoint Manager
• Experience with3rd party patching tools (Recast preferred)
• Knowledge ofWindows 10/11 environments and enterprise endpoint management
• Experience withActive Directory and Group Policy
• Ability to troubleshoot complex deployment and system issues

Nice to Have

• Experience withco-management (SCCM + Intune)
• PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience in large enterprise environments
