Our Consumer Goods Division is dedicated to helping brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide deliver safe, quality and ethically made products to their consumers. Every day at work, our inspectors, auditors, and lab techs use their expertise to help safeguard the products you use every day in your home: from clothes and footwear to toys and baby products, to electronics, appliances, and furniture.

 

Reporting directly to the Vice President Operations Inspections & Audits, you will play a key role in driving transversal projects across Asia to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and internal processes.

AsProject Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Audit, and other internal stakeholders to support and implement continuous improvement initiatives. The role is designed for someone who is highly comfortable with technology and AI, and who is eager to contribute to impactful transformation projects close to the field teams.

This position is ideal for a candidate with3 to 5 years of experience in project management, lean engineering, process improvement, or continuous improvement, although a strong fresh graduate may also be considered.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and support transversal projects across teams and functions in Asia;
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and operational efficiency;
  • Coordinate project implementation with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and follow-through;
  • Analyze existing practices and propose practical, scalable improvement solutions;
  • Contribute to lean and continuous improvement initiatives across the business;
  • Support the adoption of new tools, systems, and ways of working;
  • Use data and performance indicators to monitor project impact and recommend adjustments;
  • Collaborate with teams on innovation topics, including digital tools and AI-related initiatives;
  • Prepare clear presentations, reports, and updates for management and stakeholders;
  • Help ensure that service delivery continues to meet and exceed internal and external expectations.

To succeed in this role, you should ideally bring:

  • A degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in project management, lean management, process improvement, or continuous improvement.
  • A strong affinity for technology, digital tools, and AI, with the ability to integrate innovative solutions into operational environments.
  • Solid analytical capabilities, with demonstrated experience in data analysis and the ability to translate insights into concrete improvement actions.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous exposure to ERP, SaaS, or comparable digital platforms would be considered a plus.
  • Experience in the consumer goods, quality, inspection, audit, or industrial sectors would be a strong advantage.
