QA Automation Engineer

Summary:

• Duration: 12 month
• Location: Montreal
• Work Mode: Onsite (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x/week)

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to both functional and non-functional testing of web applications.
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve testing strategies, frameworks, and processes.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
• Drive automation initiatives and leverage modern testing tools and methodologies.
• Report on quality metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, with a focus on both functional and non-functional testing of web applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise in test automation frameworks and tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry-standard QA tools and practices.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and testing best practices.
• Experience with Playwright, Cucumber, Python, Node.js.

• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is preferred.
