About the role

As an Associate/Senior Associate, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic communications and campaigns work across a range of clients and issues. You’ll help shape purpose-led narratives, develop campaign ideas and manage projects from research and strategy through to delivery and evaluation. This role involves regular client interaction, strong project ownership and close collaboration with colleagues and partner agencies. You’ll contribute to high-quality strategy and communications work across multiple channels, while building the client management skills needed for future leadership opportunities.

About you

You’re a communications professional with 2+ years of experience who is confident in managing projects, building relationships and contributing thoughtful ideas in fast-moving environments. You’re engaged in current affairs, politics, culture and online conversation, and bring curiosity and informed opinions to your work. You understand how narratives develop across audiences and platforms, and you’re interested in the role communications can play in shaping change. You’ll be comfortable working across business, Westminster and non-profit environments, with a background in one or all. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and delivery of strategic communications and campaign activity
  • Conduct research and insight gathering on social, political and cultural issues relevant to client work
  • Manage day-to-day project coordination across client accounts and internal teams
  • Build strong and professional client relationships
  • Draft compelling messaging and content across digital, social and stakeholder channels
  • Create polished presentations and visual materials using Canva and shared templates
  • Monitor developments in current affairs, media and online discourse to inform strategic thinking
  • Contribute creative ideas, campaign opportunities and content concepts
  • Coordinate effectively with partner agencies and external stakeholders where required

Process

  • Application deadline: 9th June 2026 (we reserve the right to close applications earlier depending on interest)
  • w/c 16th June: A telephone interview with our Director of Operations
  • w/c 22nd June: In person interview with our COO and two other members of our team. We will also ask you to complete a short task ahead of the interview.
  • 2+ years’ professional experience, ideally in communications, campaigns, public affairs or the social purpose sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and project management abilities
  • Confident writing social and digital copy for different audiences and platforms
  • Comfortable using Canva and working within brand templates
  • Highly engaged in current affairs, media and culture
  • Proactive, adaptable and solutions-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and external partners
  • Collaborative and non-hierarchical in approach, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute across the team

  • Salary: £32,000 - £44,000(please state salary expectations in your cover letter)
  • Hybrid working: 3 days in our East London office (Tues-Thurs) and two days remote.
