We are seeking a heavyweight, highly strategicSenior Shopify Developer with6 to 10 years of deep, specialized ecommerce engineering experience. In this senior technical role, you will own the architectural roadmap of global Shopify Plus stores and complex headless commerce ecosystems. You are not just an executor; you are a technical architect who can design custom apps, lead high-stakes system migrations (ERP/CRM/PIM), and engineer hyper-fast storefronts that handle massive concurrent traffic.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Architecture: Architect, scale, and maintain high-volume Shopify Plus stores using Liquid, advanced JavaScript (ES6+), React, and GraphQL.
• Headless Commerce Leadership: Lead the strategy, development, and deployment of headless architectures using Shopify Hydrogen + Remix/Oxygen or advanced Next.js frameworks.
• Custom Ecosystem Engineering: Build secure, high-performance custom Shopify Apps and scalable middleware (Node.js/TypeScript) to process complex data webhooks and background jobs.
• Modern Checkout Customization: Take full ownership of migrating legacy scripts and designing advanced, secure checkout logic usingShopify Checkout Extensibility andShopify Functions.
• System Integrations: Architect seamless API integrations between Shopify and enterprise-level external systems, including ERPs (SAP, NetSuite), CRMs, and complex PIM (Product Information Management) systems.
• Performance & CRO Infrastructure: Own Core Web Vitals, technical SEO health, and server-side optimization to ensure peak loading speeds during global high-traffic sales events (e.g., Black Friday).
• Technical Leadership & Governance: Establish clean code standards, lead comprehensive code reviews, manage CI/CD pipelines, and maintain technical documentation to ensure long-term system scalability.

• Experience:6–10 years of professional experience in fullstack software engineering, with a strict, proven focus on enterprise-levelShopify / Ecommerce platforms.
• Shopify Plus Mastery: Master-level expertise in the Shopify Plus ecosystem, Liquid, Shopify Theme architecture, and Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL).
• Advanced Tech Stack: Elite proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and modern serverless/cloud hosting environments. Solid experience with Hydrogen or Next.js is mandatory.
• Checkout Extensibility: Proven, hands-on experience implementingCheckout Extensibility and writing custom business logic viaShopify Functions.
• Enterprise Integrations: Extensive track record of connecting complex global webhooks and integrating robust third-party ERP/PIM systems.
• DevOps & Workflows: Strong expertise in Git workflows, CI/CD setup, testing frameworks (Jest/Cypress), and agile engineering practices.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent, professional English (written and spoken) for high-level technical alignment and strategic reporting.
