- Establish a welcoming tone and presence for the Dallas Campus, greeting and assisting guests and employees with a positive, professional attitude. Â
- Manage the front desk and lobby area, including sign-in procedures, visitor badges, and campus security protocols. Â
- Provide directions, general information, and campus tours (as needed) for walk-in visitors. Â
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls promptly and courteously via the multi-line phone system, establishing a human connection to the Seminary. Â
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; coordinate outgoing mail and shipping. Â
- Schedule and coordinate use of conference/meeting rooms; assist with light event setup as needed. Â
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the Student Life Division, including data entry, filing, correspondence, and document preparation. Â
- Assist with text alerts and email blasts to students, faculty, and staff for events and announcements. Â
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed. Â
- Serve as backup administrative support to other departments as assigned. Â
- Maintain strict confidentiality of student and institutional records in accordance with FERPA. Â
- Maintain a professional demeanor consistent with the Seminary's mission for all who visit or call. Â
- Perform other duties as assigned.Â
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Â
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Â
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive student, faculty, and institutional information. Â
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with reliable time management and a proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Â
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Â
- Ability to remain composed and function effectively in a fast-paced, occasionally high-stress environment. Â
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Â
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Â
- Ability to communicate clearly in person and by phone.Â
- High school diploma or equivalent.Â
- Minimum 2 years of front desk, administrative, or customer service experience requiredÂ
- Experience in a higher education, nonprofit, or faith-based organizational setting preferred.Â
