Summary:
- Location: Ogdensburg, NY
- Full-Time, 40 hours/week
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and admissions
- Manage patient discharges
- Oversee medication management
- Provide routine and follow-up psychiatric care
- Attend morning meetings and weekly treatment team meetings
- Participate in ward meetings as needed
- Address legal matters, including involuntary retention and treatment over objection
- Respond to psychiatric emergencies/codes
- Review and sign test results and consults
- Collaborate with medical providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatry experience
Preferred Skills:
- Adult inpatient psychiatry experience preferred
- Maximum caseload of 20 patients per provider
