Job Summary
This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules in support of complex infrastructure projects β including transmission & distribution line, substation, and/or telecommunication projects. The Project Scheduler works closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate technical schedule progress and ensure project controls deliverables meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain level 1 to level 2 schedules inOracle Primavera P6
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activities, and activity codes
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules
- Utilize constraints, lags, and leads effectively
- Generate reports, layouts, and filters in Oracle Primavera P6
- Identify schedule drivers, delays, and opportunities
- Responsible for performing quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables
- Ability to communicate and understand technical progress of project schedules with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders regarding transmission & distribution line, substation, and/or telecommunication projects
- Ability to integrate and analyze schedule data and information from other sources inExcel via formulas, pivot tables, macros, Power Query, Power BI, etc.
- Identify logic errors, sequencing issues, or incorrect durations
- Identify schedule risks and propose mitigation issues
- Ability to handle multiple schedules across different projects
Required Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business administration from an accredited program
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Ability to travel; valid driver's license required
