Project Manager
Toronto, ON (4 days onsite a week)
Long Term Contract

Develop detailed project plans with clearly defined phases: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Establish timelines, milestones, and deliverables for each phase.
Ensure scope is well-documented and agreed upon by stakeholders.
Assign tasks to team members based on expertise (e.g., developers, testers, analysts).
Maintain a structured team hierarchy to ensure accountability.
Facilitate communication across departments and vendors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and changes.
Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met throughout the project lifecycle.
Identify potential risks early in the planning phase.
Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Monitor and address issues as they arise to avoid delays.
Maintain comprehensive documentation at each phase.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards, especially critical in financial services.
Use tools like Gantt charts to track progress and dependencies.
Coordinate testing efforts during the final stages.
Ensure all defects are identified and resolved before deployment.
Validate that the final product meets business and technical requirements.
Conduct post-project reviews to assess outcomes and lessons learned.
Ensure proper handover to operations or support teams.
Archive documentation and finalize reporting.
