Production Operations

Summary:

• Location: McPherson, KS

Responsibilities:

• Set up machines and identify materials for job performance.
• Complete material requisitions accurately.
• Produce completed parts to quality standards using appropriate equipment.
• Enter time and labor reporting daily with accuracy.
• Handle materials, tools, and equipment manually or with a jib crane.
• Layout, cut, and fit parts as required for welding.
• Fabricate new metal components according to product data sheets and safety standards.
• Solve problems and develop innovative solutions while maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment to professional standards and keep the workstation clean.
• Coordinate workflow with team members and third-party agents.
• Maintain high quality standards as per quality and engineering standards.
• Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems daily.
• Employ physical strength and endurance for machining tasks.
• Perform additional duties as necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a custom build shop preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and 3D prints/schematics.
• Proficiency in operating a computer for data input.
• Ability to operate hand tools and read measuring devices.
