Pay Rate: $19.50/HR on w2
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Use inventory and order management electronic systems to perform on-site replenishments, disbursements, receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, expediting, product returns, and backorder processing.
- Perform laboratory services, including order delivery, glassware processing, biological waste processing, chemical inventory receipt/reconciliation, and media preparation.
- Analyze, maintain, and reconcile customer and company reports to ensure requirements are met.
- Follow written work processes and procedures.
- Address customer concerns, resolve issues within established timeframes, and communicate concerns or potential problems to the supervisor.
- Participate in process improvement activities.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma required.
- College degree preferred.
Experience
- 2–3 years of equivalent experience, preferably within a laboratory setting or laboratory services.
- Demonstrated customer service, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Required Skills
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with personnel and customers at various levels.
- Experience operating handheld scanners and performing data entry.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Work Environment
- Work primarily at customer sites, including areas where chemical-based allergens such as penicillin and tetracycline may be present.
- Required PPE may include lab coats, coveralls, hoods, facemasks, hairnets, safety gloves, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and bump hats.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull 30–40 lbs consistently and up to 50 lbs when required.
- Ability to operate pushcarts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
